Seniors and Parents of Seniors: Join Us for FAFSA Night on December 10th!
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming FAFSA Night on December 10th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the high school library. This event is a fantastic opportunity for seniors and their parents to learn about the importance of filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and how it can help you qualify for grants and scholarships, including the Michigan Achievement Scholarships.
Why Attend?
Filing the FAFSA is crucial, even if you plan to attend a junior college with free tuition. Completing this form opens doors to various financial aid opportunities that can significantly reduce the cost of higher education. Our event will provide all the information you need to navigate this process successfully.
What to Bring:
Chromebook
Student FSA ID username and password
Social Security numbers
IDs
2023 Tax Forms
Balances for bank accounts and investments
Salary and/or benefit information (e.g., SNAP, WIC, TANF, etc.)
RSVP and Preparation:
Please RSVP at the link provided in your invitation to help us plan for enough food. We also recommend creating a FAFSA account beforehand to expedite the process. Instructions for account creation are included in your invitation.
